Minnesota's Premier Flying Club Since 1963
Flywell Flying Club, known as "Minnesota's Premier Flying Club", was chartered in 1963 as a non-profit social organization. We are the oldest flying club in Minnesota.
Our conservative financial management over the decades has made us one of the most financially stable clubs in the state. All members are equal owners of our four aircraft and our hangar.
Located at Anoka County Airport (KANE), we are approximately 20 miles north of Minneapolis, conveniently positioned under the KMSP Class B airspace with easy access to practice areas and cross-country routes.
Our core purpose is to promote general aviation safety and proficiency through safety programs, sound management, and our excellent aircraft and facilities. With your interest in mind, we have worked over the years to build Flywell into Minnesota's premier flying club.
We are dedicated to promoting the safety of our members and the flying community through education and training.
Conservative financial practices ensure long-term stability and sustainable operations for all members.
We maintain high-quality aircraft with modern avionics and excellent facilities for our members.
